Walking with my Dad down to the downtown area of my hometown. My folks dressed in Victoria era costumes and help lead the trolley rides past historic homes (including theirs, which is a Victorian two-story that they restored 4 years ago). I think Dad looks pretty spiffy as a Victorian gentleman.

It’s the last night of our “Wines for the Holidays” class…we focused on sparkling and dessert wines but also tasted reds and whites. We enjoyed our tablemates as well as we tried to understand exactly what floral nose really means and why you would drink a wine that smells like cat pee!!! 😀

Trading candy after an evening of trick-or-treating is always the best part. Took our godson out, as is the tradition. This year, he was an evil jester and we hit two neighborhoods for the haul.
